Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao is well known for his remakes. His latest movie 'Silly Fellow' is also a remake of 'Velainu Vaan Dhutta Vellikaaran' which was a hit in Tamil. The presence of Sunil and Allari Naresh gave good hype to this movie.
A minister shares a secret about his 500 crores property with MLA Jacket (Jaiprakash Reddy) before passing away. But soon after that, MLA meets with an accident and gets into coma. After reverting from coma he looses his memory and starts behaving like a ten year old child. The same MLA when he performs some communal marriages gets Veera Babu (Sunil) married to a prostitute. That becomes a problems for Veera Raju. On the other hand, Allari Naresh who acts as a right hand to this MLA gives ten lakhs to him, for getting his lover a police job. These three tracks together form the story of 'Silly Fellows'. The comedy which generates during these three tracks and the twists and turns which take place during the course are to be watched on screen.
- First half is quite entertaining
- Two songs are catchy
- No comedy for heroes in second half
- Director couldn't balance the two main characters well
- All routine body languages and dialogue deliveries of the star caste.
- Good Cinematography
- All the technicalities are just OK
It is just a time pass movie for two hours but not an impressive comedy entertainer. If you have no other choice
