The banner 'Mythri Movie Makers' has become a popular and huge production house, just with three movies to its credit. Such banner producing a film with Naga Chaitanya raised the expectations on the movie. The director who gave a different movie like 'Karthikeya', Chandu Mondeti has helmed this project and has increased the curiosity as to what new point is he going to touch this time. The interesting title ' Savyasachi' also has increased the curiosity as such strong title is given to a hero who has a lover boy image till then. The movie has finally released and let us see if it could reach the expectations of the audience.

'Savyasachi' is based on a concept called 'Vanishing twin syndrome' or 'Alien hand syndrome'. Vanishing twin syndrome is nothing but the merge of two fetus in the womb of the mother due to nutritional deficiencies. Vikram Aditya (Naga Chaitanya) is born with this syndrome. Vikram, Aditya is not just one person but one in another. Aditya resides in the brain and left hand of Vikram in the form of neurons. Aditya too has all the feelings a person would have, which would be displayed through the left hand of Vikram.

After a few years of college, Vikram meets his ex-lover Chitra(Niddhi) and they recollect their college life and the good times spent together. They meet in the process of an ad campaign shoot. They both leave abroad for the shoot.

On the other hand, Arun Raj (Madhavan) is an intellectual who can't tolerate if anyone takes away the things which he aspires to have from him. Due to some reasons he targets the family of Vikram Aditya. He plans to destroy that family.By the time Vikram returns from abroad, he kills Vikram's brother-in-law. Later plans to kill Vikram's sister(Bhoomika) and her daughter as well. Why is Arun doing all this and how Vikram and Aditya face him forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

  • Naga Chaitanya's performance
  • Chaitu's dance for the Remix song 'Ninnu Roddu meeda'
  • Left hand's emotions
  • Niddhi Agarwals's Performance

Minus Points:

  • Director couldn't shape up the new concept as expected
  • Dull and unimpressive mind game between hero and villain in the second half

Technical Aspects:

  • Keeravani's background music was impressive
  • K Yuvaraj's Cinematography was good
  • Mythri Movie Makers' Production values were excellent

This is a new concept which would have been much better with a good screen play. For those who wish to watch a different concept can give it a try.
