Atha alludu has been an evergreen formula in Telugu cinema. Earlier many movies with the similar backdrop managed to become huge hits. Many top heroes impressed the audience as Son in-laws till today. Similar kind of story is Sailaja Reddy Alludu.

Story:

Chay(Naga Chaitanya) is a happy go lucky guy. His father Murali Sharma is a person full of ego. When Chay keeps struggling with the ego of his father, much to his distress even his lover Anu carries ego a little more than his father. But Chay wants to bring her to track and get married to her.

He then comes to know that his to be mom-in-law Sailaja Reddy(Ramya Krishna) too is too much egoistic. Chay becomes a sandwich between the egos of both mother and daughter. How Chay manages to bring these two ladies to track and reduce their egos forms the story of Sailaja Reddy Alludu.

Plus Points:

  • Chay's screen presence is awesome. He looked handsome and more active.
  • Ramya Krishna's performance is as usual amazing.

Minus Points:

  • Boring First half
  • Entertainment not up to Maruthi's level
  • Dialogues could have been penned better by Maruthi

Technical Aspects:

  • Cinematography is very impressive
  • Good production values

Verdict:

Routine story with average entertainment but can be watched for Chay's screen presence and Rama Krishnan's acting.
