Vijay Devarakonda is one crazy star who shot to fame with films like Pellichupulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam. He has developed a huge fan base and has received a star status just with four movies on store. He is now entering into Kollywood with a bilingual NOTA, which is released in Tamil along with Telugu. As elections are fast approaching this political drama had high expectations on it since the announcement of the release date. Let us see if this movie could reach to those expectations.

Story:

Vasudev(Nasser) as he gets into a CBI enquiry due to some reasons resigns from his CM post. He makes his son Varun as CM to replace him. Soon after due to the same case he would be arrested and put in jail. Varun though initially neglects the CM post and behaves irresponsibly, later realizes its importance and takes it seriously and decides to serve the society in the best way possible. In this senior journalist Mahendra (Satyaraj) helps him.

Soon after Vasudev gets bail and gets released from jail but in an attempt to assassinate him he lands up in coma. Varun then starts investigating on who could have made this murder attempt. What happens after that and if Vasudev survives, will Varun become a CM permanently or not is to be known by watching on the silver screen.

Plus Points:

  • Vijay Devarakonda's performance
  • Good background music
  • Art work, Good locations
  • Few crucial scenes

Minus Points:

  • Logic missed at few places
  • No scope for heroine's character at all
  • Nothing new in the story

Technical Aspects:

  • Syam C .S's tunes are not up to the mark
  • Background score is excellent
  • Excellent production values
  • Cinematography is fine enough

Verdict:

Vijay who was shooting up with back to back hits is definitely an asset for this movie. Those who wish to see him in a different role, only can dare to watch it this weekend.
