‘Neevevaro’ is an action thriller with Aadi Pinisetti as the main lead. In this movie which is based on ‘Ade Kangal’ a Tamil film, Aadi is portraying a blind character. Taapsee who proved herself in Bollywood is now doing a Telugu film after a very long time. Aadi who proved himself to be a great actor as a character artist in 'Sarrainodu', 'Ninnu Kori' and 'Rangasthalam' is all set to impress the audience as a main hero. This movie is basically a thriller with many twists and turns.

Story:

Kalyan (Aadi Pinisetti) who loses his eye sight when he is 15yrs old  wins over his blindness and becomes a master chef in a popular restaurant.  Anu (Rithika Singh) is his neighbor. They both are childhood buddies. Anu who is a journalist falls in love with Kalyan. But Kalyan falls in love with Vennela (Taapsee) who he meets in his restaurant one night. When he tries to express his love to her he realizes that she is in some problem. The story takes many turns after that and he happens to get his eye sight back after an accident. After that Vennela goes missing. While going in search of Vennela he finds many crucial facts related to his past life. Chokka Rao (Vennela Kishore), a constable helps him in searching for Vennela.  What happens after that? Who is Vennela? Will he be able to meet her? To find answers to all these questions, the movie is to be watched on screen.

Plus Points:

  • Performance of the lead actors
  • Interesting Story plot
  • Sid Sriram’s “Vennelaa..” Song is a visual treat

Minus Points:

  • The stylish action thriller could have been more impressively presented by the director
  • Screenplay couldn’t reach the expectations of the audience
  • Lost hold in the second half as the suspense is revealed to the audience prior to the hero

Technical Aspects:

  • Impressive cinematography
  • Excellent production values

Verdict:

Though the story could have been presented in a more impressive way by the director, it is worth a watch one time for the actors’ performances.
