Chalo is the love story of a couple which takes place in a village near the border meeting Andhra and Tamil regions. The story is taken forward by adding a touch of humor which makes it interesting. The journey in which the hero faces unpredictable situations to make his love story a successful one keeps us engaged.

Narrating a simple plot by involving the audience in some wit and humor without making them bored shows the craftsmanship of the director. In Chalo the director just excelled in this point. The fun and joy of having a thrilling experience with out stressing our brains too much in the name of logic is the biggest asset for this movie. Chalo is the story of a youngster Hari (Naga Shaurya) whose young blood is always ready to get into fights. This worries his father Naresh who send him to a village Tirupuram for  his studies. Naga Shaurya meets the love of his life Karthika (Rashmika) in the college and the regional differences become an obstacle for their love. What are the differences and how Naga Shaurya sorts out everything  to win his love is shown in an entertaining manner.

Plus Points:

  • Fun track is the highlight in the movie.
  • Naga Shaurya gets into the skin of the character
  • Rashmika Mandanna's performance
  • Fun dialogues are a treat to our heart.
  • Satya and Vennela Kishore need a special mention.
  • Good music which is never boring.

Minus Points:

  • Very simple story line
  • The fights end up on a silly note in the end.
  • A bit drag .

Technical Aspects:

  • Rich Production Values
  • Good Cinematography
  • Director's artistry in handling such simple plot in an intriguing way.

Naga Shaurya mesmerized with his natural charm and ease. One more feather is added to his cap of victory. The heroine looks pretty and does full justice to her role. Comedy is the heart and soul of this movie. On a lighter note, leave aside logic and go for this fun-filled romantic entertainer. It is surely a stress buster. If you are a story theme and discipline lover then this is not the film for you. But if you just want to enjoy and come back home with a smile without many complications you should definitely go for it.
