Chal Mohan Ranga is a story revolving around two childhood friends who get separated, as the girl moves to US. The boy after growing up aspires to get a job in US and desperately tries for a visa. He manages to get the visa after many rejections and travels to US. There he meets the same girl accidentally. They falling in love, separating once again and later uniting forms the rest of the story which include multiple incidents in the process which tickle your funny bone.

Though it's a routine story by Trivikram, it is well presented on the screen with some wonderful music by Thaman as an added flavor.

Story:

Mohan Ranga(Nithin) falls for a neighboring girl Megha(Megha Akash) in his childhood. She suddenly shifts from Hyderabad to USA one fine day. Once Mohan is 24 he tries to go to US in search of a job but gets his visa rejected many a times. He keeps trying and finally manages to reach US with the help of an NRI family.

Mohan accidentally meets Megha there who was his childhood crush. After a series of incidents they become close to each other and decides to propose each other, when destiny takes a drastic turn and the girl moves to her home town back in India-Ooty.

Mohan again gets back from US and goes to Ooty to meet her, but by then Megha would be held in some commitment. To check out what that commitment is and how Megha and Mohan manage to unite once again, forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

  • Nithin's Performance
  • Megha's Acting and Cuteness
  • Well Written Dialogues
  • Trivikram Mark Comedy Punches

Minus Points:

  • Predictable Story
  • Dragging Second Half
  • Less Romantic Connect Between the Lead Pair
  • Lengthy Scenes

Technical Aspects:

  • Impressive Music by Thaman
  • Punch dialogues
  • Excellent Cinematography
  • Editing Could've been better

Verdict:

Those who love comedy and like to watch some cute scenes with Trivikram style punch dialogues can definitely give it a try unless you expect a different story.  One time watch weekend relaxer, to sum it up.
