Vijay Devarakonda gave a sensational hit for Geetha Arts-2 banner with the film 'Geetha Govindam'. As every hero dreams of working with Geetha Arts at least once in their career, Vijay bagged an opportunity to act in two of their movies, 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Taxiwaala'. They are calling Vijay lucky for having got such opportunity.
But Vijay responds on this and says that Luck is just a trash. He says lot of hard work goes in getting this opportunity. He said that the success of his film 'Pellichoopu' made Geetha Arts sign him, but not luck. "We have a script, contribution of the director, heroine Ritu Varma, that cameraman, producers who invested on us and all others behind Pelli Choopulu. And that film's success led me to Geetha Arts signing me", he says.
These bold comments once again prove how honest to himself Vijay is. He talks straight from his heart, come whatever may and doesn't show off any false emotions. This characteristic of him is what made him a favorite of many in Tollywood industry.
Vijay managed to give Geetha Arts so many profits which its own mega horoes couldn't give. 'Geetha Govindam' managed to fill the pockets of Allu Aravind with a whopping profit of around 40 crores which none of the films in his banner could do in the recent times.
